Pastor Joey Manuel

Pastor Joey Manuel is an Associate Pastor looking after Area 4. His area includes Isatown, Salmabad, Tubli, A’Ali, Jid Ali, Adhari Park, Jurdab, Bilad Al Kadeem and East Sanad. |
was during those years that he was still handling a small church through UR-DDU in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He was, though, asked by Pastor Freddie Cudiamat to preach in the Sunday worship occasionally.
If there was one thing that reminds him how God has directed his life to accept His calling as a pastor would be his willingness to obey and care for souls especially those people whose lives remained lost. Pastor Joey always had this attitude to say “Yes Lord”. He just can never refuse to serve the Lord God. His desire that led his heart to embrace God’s calling comes from his training and seminars at Devine Desert University (DDU) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia where God draws him to intervene and get involved in many church activities.
His calling as a pastor was affirmed one night when he was all alone sleeping and he, believe it or not, heard a voice calling his name ‘three times”. He woke up each time his name was called and immediately answered “Lord?” and from then on affirmed that God wanted him to be used for His kingdom.
There was no feeling of struggle when he made the decision to become a pastor. He just followed the Lord’s command and mandate through a close friend pastor who is dear to him. With that decision he knew that God has already prepared his heart to serve Him. Pastor Joey believed God took notice his empathy to people. He really loves to worship the LORD in a big crowd through singing, but God brought him in Bahrain according to His will that he would become useful in teaching, preaching, counselling and restoring relationships.
Being the new pastor of Area 4, his immediate plans are:
- To encourage all area members to commit their life, time, effort and love for the Lord’s vineyard.
- To accept and understand one another’s weaknesses in handling a particular task.
- Area 4 members should be willing to become leaders after they have been moulded and whose lives are always ready for the Master’s use to train others.
- Area 4 will continue the cell grouping as planned previously with assigned leader per group where they should gather in a place of their choice at least once a month.
- To saturate area members with sound doctrine leading to maturity.
- To divide the area into a smaller group of 3 where everyone could participate and experience his/her value of serving the Lord through his talent either in teaching, worship leading, cooking and the like.
- Part of my plans and prayers that area 4 could create praise and worship team by God’s grace with the help of the Praise Hearted.
- To teach them the value of prayer and fasting and they should make it a habit as long as they are serving the “King of Kings and the Lord of Lord”.
